Further Impositions on Foreign Ownership 

A levy of 7% of the purchase price will be charged on Non Residents as a dis-incentive to purchasing property in Australia. Ie where the purchase price is $400,000 a Levy of $28,000 is not much to pay for an incoming millionaire.  Some other countries do not allow Foreign Ownership entirely.
