Changes to foreign property purchases in Australia

Intro

A levy of 7% of the purchase price will be charged on Non-Residents as a disincentive to purchasing property in Australia. Ie: where the purchase price is $400,000 a Levy of $28,000 will apply - not much to pay for an incoming millionaire.  Some other countries do not allow foreign ownership entirely.
